Father,

How many times have I come to you with my faithless prayers? Too often for me to count, that’s how many. Does it grieve you when I say, “I know that you are able to do this, but I’m not sure if you will”? It grieves me to say it, but that’s what I sometimes think. It’s what I sometimes feel.

Yet …

What little faith I have, I am confident that it is all that I need and all that you require from me. For the faith that pleases you is my simple faith that believes I have no hope outside of you. So, I bring you my need, desperate to touch just the hem of your garment. I have no faith in my own faith; my faith is in you.

I believe, Lord! Help my unbelief. You are God— and I am yours.

In Jesus’ name I pray. Amen.
